Local legend has it that long ago in a faraway land at a crossroads near the Mason-Dixon Line on a hot summers eve, stood a lonely slide-playing guitar-slinger from the Southside of Chicago. Suddenly a long, tall bass man from the new city of York appeared while a fast talkin' harp-blowin’ lawman sat on a rock nearby. Off in the distance they heard the rumble of beating drums and lo' a Harley appeared through a haze of dust. They played a few tunes as they wandered down the long highway, by-and-by they heard a magical voice coming from a nearby farm -- and BullFish was born.
BullFish has evolved a unique style of original blues-based music with soaring vocals, powerful guitar, soulful harp a big-fat bass, and driving drums that will make you feel good all over. From live shows to studio work BullFish shares a deep passion for music and a love of the blues that you can feel and hear when you see them perform. BulllFish is lighting up stages all over the Southland, whether they’re playing as an acoustic duo, trio or as a full band. BullFish Blues is sexy, full of life, love, and hope. BullFish believes the blues can fill your heart and set you free.
BullFish is a member of both the Los Angeles Blues Society and the Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society and was 2nd place winners of the 2011 Santa Clarita Valley Blues Society Battle of the Bands in the Solo/Duo category. They're currently in the process of recording their next album.
